JobStrap is a non-profit that:
- Funds a substantial part of its operations with the revenue it generates from recruiting and staffing services offered to employers and job hunters.
- (a) Delivers sustaining income to bootstrappers with contract work paying 90%-100% of the negotiated market rate [Note: standard industry practice is for an agency keep 50% and payout 50% to the contract worker]; (b) Obtains and optimizes work contracts to meet the unique needs of self-funding entrepreneurs "bootstrappers"; and (c) Provides health insurance [additional benefits will be added as appropriate].
- Creates an accountability structure for bootstrappers that results in an accelerated maturation of their startups, increases the volume of startups launched, and dramatically increases the rate of market successes.
